Habitat for Humanity: “Rock the Block”

Saturday, September 20 | 8AM - 1PM

Habitat Charlotte Region’s Rock the Block initiative is all about strengthening communities from the ground up. This program brings together homeowners, dedicated community organizations, and passionate volunteers to complete essential exterior home repairs, enhance landscaping, and carry out various clean-up activities within Habitat partner neighborhoods.

On Saturday, September 20, Habitat is Rocking the Block in Gastonia’s vibrant Highland neighborhood where Habitat will launch our Critical Home Repair program this fall. We are excited to partner with this incredible Neighborhood Association that is dedicated to boosting residents’ quality of life.

In partnership with Lowe’s, over 100 volunteers will come together to complete external home repairs, maintenance, and beautification projects in the Highland neighborhood. Imagine the impact: freshly mowed lawns, new mailboxes, clean gutters, and bursts of colorful flowers – all bringing renewed pride and comfort to our neighbors.

Join us and be part of this amazing day of community celebration! Volunteers must be ages 14 and older (ages 14-16 must be accompanied by an adult). Click the link below to get registered!
