It is hard to believe how quickly this year has passed and we are now inching closer to the few remaining months of 2023. If we take a moment to reflect on all God has provided for our church and the kingdom work that has been accomplished through each ministry of FPC Belmont, we can truly say God has been so good! It is through God's provision and the devotion of each faithful steward within our congregation that we have the ability to fulfill His purpose for our church, our community, and beyond.

As we enter into Stewardship season this fall, we will be presented with opportunities to consider how we, the body of Christ, can contribute to the mission that is before us in 2024. How can we invest our time, talents, and finances back into the church to meet the needs of our congregation and community?

In the coming weeks, you will be receiving more information during Worship and through e-mail communication about making a financial pledge, the ministries we collectively contribute to, and ways to serve and give. The Stewardship & Finance Committee asks you prayerfully to consider how your meaningful financial commitment allows the church to plan and execute our various education programs, outreach ministries, worship, fellowship, the upkeep of our facilities, and more.

As God's chosen vessels, through serving, praying, giving, and trusting, we can live anchored in the faith of Jesus Christ and remain confident in finding the riches of our relationship with God deepened and our community strengthened. We look forward to uniting with one another to witness the blessings God has in store for FPC Belmont next year and the years to come!

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
— Matthew 6:19-21
