Community Lunch & Learn
The Lunch & Learn series at First Presbyterian Church offers a welcoming time to share a meal, connect with others, and learn about the impactful work of local nonprofit organizations. Each month features a different community partner, highlighting their mission and ways to support their efforts. Lunch is provided at no cost, and gatherings take place on the third Tuesday of each month. Upcoming sessions will be listed under the events page of our website.
GriefShare
This support group is a safe and welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you will discover what to expect and what is “normal” when grieving. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you will learn helpful ways of coping with grief, while gaining solid support each step of the way. Talking with other people who understand what you are experiencing brings great comfort, normalizes the grief experience, and offers a supportive environment to work through this difficult time. Classes are announced on our website as they are held.
The Marriage Course
The Marriage Course offers couples a meaningful opportunity to relax over a meal and intentionally invest in their relationship. Rooted in a Biblical perspective, the seven‑session course provides practical, engaging teaching on communication, conflict resolution, forgiveness, building strong foundations, and more. Each evening includes a candlelit dinner for two and private conversation—just you and your spouse. Offered at various times throughout the year, this course guides couples in strengthening their marriage through Christ‑centered principles and intentional connection.
Financial Peace Class
Financial Peace University, created by Dave Ramsey, offers practical, biblically based guidance for managing money with confidence and purpose. Through video teaching, group discussion, and interactive activities, participants learn how to eliminate debt, budget wisely, save intentionally, and build healthy financial habits. The course is open to couples, singles, and high school juniors and seniors, with scholarships available based on need. Classes are offered throughout the year and announced on the events page of our website.
