Providing a Meal

Description: Provide and deliver a meal to a family or an individual in need (hospitalization, new baby, etc) in our church family. The Board of Deacons Congregational Care Meal Team Coordinators provide you with all details by phone or by www.TakeThemAMeal.com  

Time: Once a year or more if you choose.

Bereavement Meal

Description: Provide a dish for a luncheon that the church gives a grieving family before or after the funeral or memorial service.

Time: once per year or more if you choose

Helping Wheels

Description: Drive a church member who is unable to drive to needed appointments, such as doctor visits.

Time: dependant upon destination, once a year, more if you choose

Helping Hands

Description: Help church members with yard work or light household chores in conjunction with an organized Helping Hands event.

Time: 2- 3 hours, usually on a Saturday morning, once per year, more if you choose

Stephen Minister

Description: Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one lay caring ministry of trained Stephen Ministers who provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered are to people who are hurting. 

Time: 50 hours of training by our Stephen Leaders, when assigned a care receiver you will spend 2-3 hours per month meeting with your care receiver and 2 hours per month at a supervision meeting.
