I retired in the Fall of 1995 after serving the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Holly for thirty-two years. After retirement I served as Parish Associate at First Presbyterian Church, Gastonia for over two years. Then I became the Parish Associate here in Belmont while First Presbyterian Church, Belmont was looking for an associate minister. My work concluded in Belmont in September 2002 and I returned as Parish Associate in February 2006.
Frances and I continue to make our home in Mount Holly. Our son Porter and his family are members here in Belmont, our daughter Anne and her family live in Raleigh. We have four grandchildren.
