Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Western North Carolina

First Presbyterian Church Belmont

Saturday, January 28, 2012

( Inclement Weather - Saturday, February 4 )

On Saturday, January 28th, 2012, our congregation will be privileged to host the Winter Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Western North Carolina.  A meeting of the Presbytery is an opportunity for ministers and representatives of each congregation large and small throughout Western North Carolina to gather for Worship and to conduct the business of the Presbytery.  As we welcome approximately 250-275 guests to our new facility, volunteers are needed to fill a variety of positions before, during and following the meeting.  With so much to do and so many roles to fill, there is an opportunity for every member to be a part of this event in the life of our congregation and experience the connectedness and governance of our denomination.

Please read the descriptions of our volunteer positions below,

and complete the Volunteer Registration Form  to indicate the areas where you would like to volunteer

and the  hours you are available.
