PSCC Services
The Center provides assistance for a wide variety of emotional and relational problems, including (but not limited to) the following:
Anxiety
Depression
Marital difficulties
Parenting problems
Loss and grieving
Divorce recovery
Blended families (stepfamilies)
Workplace problems
Recovery from sexual abuse
Interfaith marriage issues |
PSCC Staff
Every therapist on the staff of Presbyterian Samaritan holds at least one graduate degree, and some hold two or three. All are trained clinical counselors, and some have a theological education and/or clergy ordination as well. All are licensed or working toward licensure with the State of North Carolina and are certified by several different organizations, including:
The American Association of Pastoral Counselors
The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy
The National Counseling Association
Center personnel do not offer medication, psychological evaluations, or child- custody evaluations. We are able to refer for those services when needed.
