Dear Parents,

At First Presbyterian Weekday School, we strive to provide meals that are both child friendly and nutritious, and meal times that are both fun and developmental.  Our menus are posted for your information on the home page of our website.  The following general information communicates the guidelines we follow in the creation of all of our school menus.

  • Breakfast Snack - Each morning when classes are settled in, a snack is served in your child's classroom.  The snack will always consist of two food groups, and includes milk or juice, a fruit or vegetable, bread or cereal.
  • Lunch - Lunch menus will always consist of four food groups, and includes meat or a meat alternative, a vegetable or fruit, bread with butter or margarine, milk along with other foods.
  • Afternoon Snack - The afternoon snack is served in your child's classroom.  The snack will always consist of two food groups, and includes milk or juice, a fruit or vegetable, bread or cereal.

Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding our meal programs, or your child's specific nutritional needs or food restrictions.

Sincerely,

The Administration and Staff of First Presbyterian Weekday School
