WOW!
Worship On Wednesdays
Every Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:00 in the Education Building
WOW is an integrated midweek after-school program for kindergarten through 5th grade children. WOW meets every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in our Education Building. Students learn about worship, stewardship, mission and living the Christian life using a variety of mediums. Age appropriate music is chosen to enhance the WOW curriculum as well as promote musical and spiritual growth.
This midweek program is “kid-friendly” and “volunteer-friendly.” Nursery care is provided for volunteer teachers and helpers (4:30-6:00 p.m.) in room EB-109.
Kindergarten
Our kindergarten children begin a faith-filled adventure each Wednesday afternoon with SonShine Choir practice. Following choir they learn Bible Points as they rotate through games, music, outreach projects and surprises that work together to build a personal friendship with Jesus Christ.
Grades 1-5
Our 1st grade through 5th grade children enjoy this year’s Bible curriculum In the Beginning. For each grade level each month, two WOW classes are dedicated to Bible lessons, one WOW class is dedicated to the study of the church year and one WOW class is dedicated to learning about or participating in mission projects.
