Habitat for Humanity Home
First Presbyterian Church is privileged to be able to participate in the Gaston Area Presbyterian (GAP) Habitat for Humanity projects. This past fall marked the fifth Habitat home built by GAP.
The Groundbreaking Ceremony of the fifth GAP Habitat House took place Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the site of the home, 1625 West McFarland Avenue in Gastonia.
First Presbyterian Church Belmont sponsored their "build day" on Saturday, October 16, 2010. We worked in partnership with the Love's Chapel Presbyterian Church, and our work activities included exterior vinyl siding installation and interior insulation.
