Heather is a native of Dallas NC and the Assistant Director at First Presbyterian Weekday School. She accepted a teaching job here at First Presbyterian Weekday School in April of 2000, and went on to get her Associates in Early Childhood Education from Gaston College in 2005. Heather became the Assistant Director in 2003 and today continues to help operate the Weekday School. She works with 36 staff members and over 200 families. Heather loves being an advocate for Early Childhood Education and her plan is to return to school this Fall to work towards her BA in Educational Studies at Belmont Abbey. In her spare time she loves to read and spend time with her nephew.
