Tuesday Midday Prayer Lunch Meals
The Midday Prayer Service is held each Tuesday at 12:10, with the Lord's Supper served the first Tuesday of each month. Prayer is followed by lunch and a time of fellowship. While all are welcome to this service, it is a special ministry for our senior members, giving them the opportunity to get out and enjoy worship and fellowship with each other. Helping Wheels volunteers pick up our members and friends living at Carillon and Covenant Village so they are able to attend.
With the construction, we have moved the service and lunch to the Ford House . . . and that's where we need YOUR help!!
We are looking for volunteers to prepare a portion of the lunch, one Tuesday during the months of May - July, 2011. If you would be interested in participating, please read the following, then complete the steps at the bottom of this page. You may want to consider "adopting" one Tuesday as a group (Sunday School class, Circle, Deacon / Elder Class, Committee, etc) and provide the meal together.

Tuesday Midday Prayer Lunch
Each week, volunteers may provide a main dish, sweet tea or dessert. Portions should be prepared for 20-25 people.
The key is to "keep it simple!" We have limited space to set up our lunch, and our prayer attendees are easy to please. Soup and sandwich or salad, simple casseroles, etc. are all easy to manage and go great with the group.
Plan on arriving at the Ford House around 11:45 to be set up by noon. Each week a host/hostess will be available to help you setup and serve. If you would like to provide a part of the meal but are unavailable during the day, please indicate this on your sign-up form, and we will make arrangements with you to pick up and serve your meal.
All paper products will be provided by the church; receipts may be turned into Jeannie Sigmon.
Please plan to stay for the Prayer Service and lunch if you are able.

It's that simple! The schedule is updated twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening - check back to be sure you have been assigned the day and meal you requested.
