First Presbyterian Church of Belmont will have continued to be a joyful and compassionate community of faith having increased its membership, strengthened its internal programs, stabilized its finances, revitalized its facilities, and provided adequate staff to serve God following the example of Jesus Christ.

We have enriched our congregation and extended the reach of programs, missions and fellowship by expanding Church membership by 5% per year, thereby reaching an attendance of approximately 300 at Sunday morning worship and a total membership of approximately 725.

We have stabilized our finances with the percent of individuals and families (giving units) increased from 35 to 60 percent. The number of individuals and families in the congregation designating the Church as a beneficiary to wills, estate settlements, and insurance policies has increased by 25 percent.

We have added a minimum of one new program per year for the youth and older adults, required Session Committee oversight of existing programs and are enjoying a Church-wide fellowship opportunity with weekly meals.

We have been guided by a Project Oversight Committee and its Capital Campaign and Building Renovation/Expansion Sub-Committees to provide state-of-the-art facility renovations that have supported approved program and staffing requirements. A master site plan is now available for current/future planning.

We have continued to make required job description changes/additions to our non-ordained support staff and to call and benefit from the leadership of experienced ordained Ministers of the Word and Sacrament.
